This week in Telluride

Although summer is winding town, Telluride events are certainly not. Don't miss out on the Sunset Concert Series this Wednesday in the Mountain Village featuring Ryan Shaw. The concert is free so bring a picnic and the whole family and enjoy some music with the beautiful backdrop of the San Sophia Ridge, concert starts at 6.

Friday starts the Telluride Festival of the Arts. Highlights of the 2008 Festival will include celebrity chef demonstrations, food seminars, a showcase dinner and grand tasting along with a nationally juried art exhibit organized by the producers of the Cherry Creek Arts Festival, one of the nation's most well known and most competitive outdoor juried arts festivals.

Also on Friday is a free concert featuring a favorite of all locals, Taj Mahal. The conert is free and will start at 6pm in Sunset Plaza.
